4RFM are excited to be able to offer our Youth Broadcasting Program two afternoons per week!

About the Youth Broadcasting Program
The Youth Broadcasting Program is an extension of our school-based Project Y Program and provides an ongoing opportunity for students 12 – 18 years to continue to engage with 4RFM on a volunteer basis.
The Youth Broadcasting Program is primarily a music-based program with students regularly programming and presenting their music programs LIVE on air as well as producing quality audio for community ads & station promotion (stings), sourcing & editing music, Magazine Writing & Research & musician interviews.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must have previously completed the school-based Project Y Program
- Must be available on designated day/time to attend at least 90%* of sessions each term (*excludes sick days & holidays)
- Must be currently attending school (if not attending school – check out our Volunteer Program instead!)
Program Details
When: Mondays & Tuesdays (during school term)
Time: 4 – 6pm (doors open at 3.45pm)
What It Costs: $150per student, per year + Annual Membership fee. Cost includes a 4RFM presenter Polo shirt.
We are looking for students who are genuinely interested & committed to fully participating in 4RFM Community Radio Station as presenters/programmers first and foremost. As spots are limited, please carefully consider your personal level of commitment and interest before applying.
